Sheet C03 Revision 1 Terms read 16 October 2026

How this site is paid, and what the payment cannot buy

Links on this site to an offer are commercial. Where a reader opens an account through one, this publisher is paid by the operator, and nothing is charged to the reader. What the payment does not buy is the order anything appears in.

1

Who pays, and for what

The arrangement is the ordinary one for this trade. A tracked link carries a reader to a cashier; where an account follows, a fee is due; in some agreements a share of later activity is due as well. The money comes out of an operator’s marketing budget and never out of a reader’s balance. Rates differ from one agreement to the next and are commercially confidential, so no figure for them is published here.

Two consequences follow and both are worth saying out loud. Nobody pays to read these sheets, and nobody has to click anything to use them: the arithmetic, the sources and the residues are all on the page in full. And a reader who ignores every link costs this publisher money, which is a position any honest version of this business has to be able to live with.

2

What the payment does not buy

Position is not for sale, and neither is wording. No sentence is softened because a fee exists behind it, no figure is moved, and no residue is left out. Arithmetic is done from terms as published, at the settings declared at how a face is priced, and a face expected to finish below nothing is printed as finishing below nothing.

Some things are declined. Nothing is paid for a review, because this site carries none. Nothing is paid to drop a residue from a sum or to soften a ceiling. No code is printed as current, and no named operator is said to be running any given offer at this moment, because an offer term is the most perishable fact in this trade.

3

What the ordering is built from

What the ordering is built from can be described in general terms, and that is as far as it goes, because terms move and the live ones belong to the listing rather than to this prose. The ingredients are the size of a face once a count has been converted into pence, the expected cost of whatever requirement is attached to it, how much of the face a ceiling or a floor puts beyond reach, whether the terms can be found and read in full, and whether prepaid money can be loaded at a step a reader is able to buy.

Two things follow from describing it that way. The sequence is not fixed, since an ingredient that moves moves the sequence with it. And nothing in this prose is written against whatever happens to be showing, which is deliberate: a sentence tied to today’s wording is a sentence that misleads somebody next month.

4

The conflict, stated rather than hidden

The conflict is real and worth stating rather than hiding. This publisher earns more when more readers open accounts, which is an incentive to make a face look better than it is. The only honest defence is arithmetic somebody else can repeat, which is why every sum is shown with its inputs and why negative results appear on the page as often as positive ones.

A worked instance makes the defence checkable. A credit of £30.00 under a forty times requirement, at the return assumed throughout, is expected to cost £48.00 to clear and so to finish at minus £18.00. That figure appears on these pages because it is what the sum gives, and a commercial arrangement that could change it would not be worth having.

5

The label that belongs on every page

No Great Britain licence stands behind the offers linked from here, and that label belongs on every page of this site. What goes missing is named rather than waved at: the ten times ceiling, the slot stake caps, membership of the national register, and a dispute-resolution body that the regulator has vetted. Each one is priced duty by duty at off the register.

A reader who wants none of that should start instead at staying in control, which sets out the free protections already available and what each one reaches. That page carries no commercial link of any kind, and it never will.

Anything inaccurate on these sheets can be reported, and a correction costs nothing to make. What a report needs in order to be acted on is set out at write to us.
